Loumidis Coffeeshops has a state-of-the-art coffee production unit, in which a fully developed, properly validated and verified Safety Management System (S.D.A.T.-F.S.M.S.) is applied, based on the principles of H.A.C.C.P.. The scope of the system includes all the stages of coffee processing: roasting, grinding and packaging, thus taking all the necessary measures so that the products it produces, packs and distributes are safe.
At the same time, there is also an aromatic coffee production line. With the primary goal of protecting the environment, we make sure that the residues of the production process do not end up in landfills. Every month we collect the skin that comes out of the raw coffee during roasting and donate it to the local Public Authorities for composting. This kind of recycling of the biodegradable volume turns it into fuel for the fireplace, pellets or even animal feed.
